A space to slow down and breathe.

Therapy in Cincinnati, Ohio

Welcome

You’ve been holding a lot.

Trying to show up perfectly—for your children, in your relationships, and at work. Trying to get it right.

But it can feel heavy.

Maybe you’ve always made it work before, but it no longer feels sustainable.

Maybe you have nagging questions about choices you’ve made, a relationship, or your career.

On the outside, things might look okay, or even great. But inside, it feels more complicated.

My office is a place where you don’t have to keep holding it all together, a place where you don’t have to convince me that you’re “fine” and really shouldn’t be complaining in the first place. In therapy with me, you can begin to sort through what’s actually true for you, and figure out how to move in that direction.

I’m Delanie Isaacs, MA, LPCC (she/her), a therapist in Cincinnati with 20 years of experience. I work with people who are navigating significant transitions—whether that’s in relationships with others, or in the way they relate to themselves. My style is informal, direct, and genuine. I focus on helping you understand yourself in a way that opens up more choice and freedom in your life.

I see mindfulness and self-compassion as crucial therapeutic tools—not just to feeling better in the moment, but to exercising more agency in how you live life every day. I use EMDR when appropriate in service of defusing the emotional charge that persists from painful experiences. In every area of your life, I help you determine what skills you need to live the life you want to live, and support you in learning them.

Areas of Expertise

My Offerings

A narrow dirt path winding through a dense forest of tall, straight trees.

Individual Therapy

A space to slow down and make sense of what’s happening internally—your thoughts, patterns, and relationships. We’ll approach things with honesty, curiosity, and self-compassion, without pressure to have it all figured out.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR helps process experiences that feel stuck or continue to impact you in the present. It allows your brain to rework those experiences so they feel less intense and more integrated.

Couples Therapy

A space to understand the patterns between you and how they’ve shifted over time—especially through parenthood. I take a direct, engaged approach to help you move toward more clarity and connection.
